The Rail Alliance invites you to its next Networking session where our focus will be on Asset Management with specific interest in Remote Condition Monitoring.
Illustrating the rail industry’s shift to digital processes and data capture, this subject reflects a significant area of growth in our membership. We are delighted to have secured speakers that will provide not only a high level vision of current and future trends, but also introduce innovative technology and processes that deliver efficiency and Whole Life Value.
We are very pleased to confirm Robert Forde, Network Rail’s Programme Manager for Research, Development and Technology / Safety, Technical and Engineering, as one of our lead presenters. Robert will explain the progressive approach being adopted by the Network in its introduction of predictive systems to deliver sustainable Asset Management.
Professor Clive Roberts of the University of Birmingham is a leading light in Remote Condition Monitoring and will illustrate how his Department’s depth of experience across industry sectors is benefiting rail’s Technology Readiness Levels.
Martin Strutt, Consultancy Director of the EEF, will introduce the ‘4IR’ (4th Industrial Revolution) concept; this prevalent in strategic decision making for investment in UK manufacturing and its data-centric forward vision.
In addition we will, as always, introduce a strong line up of speakers from the supply chain who can demonstrate the best examples of technology and preventative maintenance in this dynamic sector. Names will be confirmed ahead of the event, so please look out for further details.
