Many European governments see rail as a way to reach climate goals and handle congestion. Deutsche Bahn for instance is investing 86 billion euro’s in the next ten years to modernise its rail infrastructure. The German plans fit exactly in the worldwide trend of shifting the transport of people and goods to rail.
What does European rail need in terms of digitalisation? What does the German railway investment plan look like and what does it mean for international cross border train connections?
The RailTech Infra Forum is a two day online conference dedicated to answer these questions. The event is split up in two hours every day, each day handling two sessions:
