We are looking for a dedicated person for the development of a new research focus at the Carl Ritter von Ghega Institute for Integrated Mobility Research in the field of digitalisation and automation.
What you will be working on
- You are responsible for the development, the design and subsequently the coordination of a new research focus in the field of digitalisation and automation in the mobility sector
- You stimulate and initiate RDI activities
- You are responsible for the ongoing acquisition of third-party funds
- You head and carry out research projects
- You hold international lectures and publish papers in your technical field
- You head your own courses in the medium term
What we expect from you
- Completed master or diploma degree programme in the area of natural sciences or technology (ideally PhD, but not a requirement)
- Professional or research experience in the fields of digitalisation and automation in mobility
- Very good German and English proficiency
- Experience in lecturing activities and scientific publication
- Experience in the development, acquisition and implementation of projects
- Good networking in science/research/economy
- Leadership skills, ability to work in a team, innovation spirit and enthusiasm
