Lifelong interest, already my father worked for ÖBB
What inspired you at the time and what influenced your choice?
I want to contribute with my knowledge to an environmetally friendly transport mode. My actual work at the university gives me the possibility to pass on my international railway knowledge to young people/students to motivate them to work and engange for the railways.
How does it feel to be in the rail industry? Are your expectations fulfilled?
I like very much to be part of the international railway community and the cross-border exchange of know-how, knowledge and best practice (which creates added value)
What are the challenges?
The main challenge is to raise the modal split of rail transport
What is a talent? Why the rail industry should engage with talents?
A talented person has a cross-linked thinking and uses its network to create added value for the railway system
